EITIM Senior Management Forum

An initiative to promote better decision-making regarding technological commitments for enhancing the innovative and competitive performance of European enterprises. A selected number of participants from all over the world will meet their peers across industry boundaries and will share their experience by presenting and discussing their own activities and achievements. This year's theme The underlying theme for this year's Forum is Open Innovation and the CTO. The increasing pace of technological development and innovation is both a key driver for change and a major challenge to the future success of the technology intensive businesses. The challenge applies at not only at firm level, but also at national and international levels as organisations and economic groups struggle to remain competitive globally. We at EITIM share a strong common focus on innovation and its practical relevance for the competitiveness of the European industry and economy. We fuse our activities in various ways with leading practitioners into a network of excellence in the area of management of technology and innovation. At this year's Forum we will discuss the challenges relating to open innovation for CTOs and senior managers in innovation and technology intensive companies – especially those managers interacting within top management and the board.
